We all recognize that having volumes of belly fat can be problematic. Not only does it give us those unattractive and awkward "muffin tops", it can add pressure to our bodies and contribute to things like diabetes, coronary issues and more. Now, though, there is a book called the Lean Belly Prescription that is promising to help you get rid of the muffin top and get healthy at the same time. This book has been reviewed just about everywhere and we wanted to determine if the contents of the book are as good as anything else that is already out there so we decided to give it a closer look.
The book can be bought through traditional bookselling outlets like Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble and Borders. This is excellent because it can help the book gain legitimacy. This makes it less difficult to have confidence in as well because you won't have to concern yourself with an affiliate inflating the review to make sure that you buy the book even if they know that the book won't be helpful. It will help that the guide was developed by Travis Stork. You could remember him from the show "The Bachelor" or recognize him as one of the doctors on the syndicated daytime show "The Doctors." He is definitely more, however, than just a TV character. He is a true medical doctor and works in the emergency room at a genuine hospital.
Dr. Stork uses the book to promote his Pick 3 to Lean system. The Pick 3 to Lean program can help you customize your diet and lifestyle habits but will not require you to spend hours and hours working out a gym. The program guarantees to help you lose weight without having to give up any of the things you love-food, free time, etc. The theory powering this kind of plan is called the Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis (or N.E.A.T) theory. This is the theory of being capable of use up calories without having to work out.
From what we read, this particular book makes a bunch of nice promises but does not offer up any new or particularly revelation-worthy information. In fact, the majority of the information found in this book can be found through a few simple Google searches and basic common sense. It is going to be extremely disappointing for those who were searching for a real reason behind the directions the book gives. The publication will not go into theory very much at all. It simply presents readers a bunch of instructions and plans and tells them to follow them. If you happen to be an individual who likes to have a clear cut plan to follow but who doesn't want to have to worry about the particulars of the plan, this might be the book you are looking for.
Regular thought tells us that the fastest way to lose fat is exercise and good eating habits. This book flies in the face of that common sense, so we aren't actually sure if it will perform as well as it says it does. Of course, it's absolutely worth a look, particularly if you get permission from your medical doctor (your own doctor, not the doctor who wrote the book).
